- Added Roblox auto-translations.

- Fixed bug where the mobile jump button was overlapped with the crouch button.
- This change only applies to RANKED MODE due to it being a newer build of the game.
- Fixed bug where pressing mobile jump button did nothing.
- Increased main place (Lobby) server size from 40 to 50 players.
- Removed the voice chat sever from the Lobby due to glitches.
- The “Rush Around” modifier was moved below the other modifiers for Rush in the modifiers list.



- Added several quality of life changes in RANKED MODE:
- Exploiters in RANKED MODE will now be banned.
- Bloxxer achievement now displays up to #10,000.
- This unintentionally increased the loading time for the global leaderboard by a lot. However, the global leaderboard loads normally in private servers. This is most likely because of the amount of players in the server spikes the loading time.
- Assists no longer go over 100 Points.
- Displaying the Hardstuck achievement while being in Noob rank will show "Hardstuck Starter" instead of "Hardstuck Noob".

- Added RANKED MODE.
- Added a new banner to Lobby with the player's rank.
- Added a new RANKED MODE related Achievement.
- Changed the font in the chat.

- Lockpicks can be found in The Mines, and used to open locked containers & lockers and bypass generators.
- Sinkhole rooms in The Mines can be blocked off by vines, which require shears to cut.
- Guiding Light is now easier to see during Seek's chases in The Mines.
- Added new rooms and side-rooms to The Backdoor.
- Added new decorations to The Backdoor.
- Introduced the Admin Panel gamepass/modifier.
- Added new items (Cheese, Bread, Moonlight Float, Gween Soda and Smoothie)
- Added Louie, an entity you can barter with for unique items.
- Remade Halt’s sequence and room in The Mines.
- Readded Window in The Hotel as Sally with a new design and mechanics.
- Added RNIUSHCg==, AROxMBUSH, SCJVEREECH and Glitch Fragments.
- Jack can now spawn in lockers in The Mines.
- Jack has a new texture and animation.
- Timer Levers in The Backdoor are now more common and slightly easier to find.




- Fixed the transfer of Trick Or Treat modifier to The Mines.

- Figure’s mouth glow is no longer present in its jumpscare.

- Figure now generates a path directly towards noises instead of moving directly to them.
- Figure now spawns in as the Library is opened (formerly 49) eliminating the lag spike that would occur.
- Hide now gives you a heartbeat minigame. If you fail twice, you get pushed out of the hiding spot.
- Hide now has a physical form.
- Rush can now open 2 doors forward.
- During Seek's chase there is a stronger aim assist during the hallway segments.
- Bookshelves now fall in the Seek chase upon reaching them.
- The first room after the Seek chase always flickers the lights.
- Guiding Light now seals the doors to the Library, and after the end of every Seek chase.
- Guiding Light also does this after the player leaves The Nest.
- Jeff has been reanimated. When his tip jar is full, he empties it. This allows the player to tip him more. He also places the items on the cushions himself.
- You now need a Lighter to turn on the Candle.
- The Candle no longer detects entities.
- Items that are required to progress now appear as a smaller slot in the hotbar and you no longer automatically hold them when collected.
- Instead of the door number falling off of Dupe's trick doors, it becomes scratched.
- Ambush's incoming sound is now lower.
- Ambush no longer breaks the lights.
- Ambush rebounds less.
- Ambush has a smaller hitbox (Similar to rush).
- Appearance of The Infirmary has been overhauled, rooms with locked and unlocked chests can be found.
- Appearance of The Courtyard has been overhauled.

- Snare(s) appear near and in the basement of The Courtyard.
- Screech has new animations.

Major Updates
The Hotel+ Update
The Hotel+ Update was released on January 28, 2023 and added new entities, new items, the first sub-floor (The Rooms), and many enhancements to The Hotel.
SUPER HARD MODE!!! (2023 April Fools Event)
The 2023 April Fools Event (SUPER HARD MODE!!!) added a new floor (which was later converted to a modifier) that added new entities, new mechanics, and overall made The Hotel more of a threat to the player.
The Modifiers Update
The Modifiers Update, released on August 26, 2023, added modifiers, which can buff or nerf the player, increase or decrease entities’ spawn rates and their difficultly, and can change many more aspects of the player’s gameplay.
The Hunt Update
The Hunt Update, released on March 15, 2024, added The Backdoor, which was originally added as a part of The Hunt: First Edition. It was later added as a new subfloor on March 30th which takes place before The Hotel.
RETRO MODE (2024 April Fools Event)
The 2024 April Fools Event (RETRO MODE) added a short new floor (which was later converted to a modifier) that is themed around older roblox editions, featuring new rooms, blocky graphics, and new mechanics.
The Mines Update
The Mines Update, released on August 30, 2024, added The Mines, and tweaked various other aspects of the game, such as The Hotel. It added new achievements, new entities, and new mechanics within the new floor.
The Content Update
The Content Update, released on December 20, 2024, added more modifiers (and allowed them to be enabled/carried over into The Mines), new rooms (The Backdoor, The Hotel, and The Mines), 5 new entities, 6 new items, and tweaked many aspects of The Hotel and The Mines.
RANKED MODE (2025 April Fools Event)
The 2025 April Fools Event added a new gamemode, RANKED MODE, in which players compete against each other to get points, which are used to rank up.
Trivia
- Ghostly_Wowzers has said that the Hotel+ Update was the last major update for The Hotel.[1]
- However, this was disproved by The Content Update.
- The Hotel+ Update was originally going to come out in December 2022, said in the teaser trailer, but due to the developers having mistaken with the release date, and shipping issues, it was later moved to January 29, 2023 shown in the second trailer. It then came out one day early on January 28th.
- RediblesQW originally planned to add in a revamped 4 Way Minecart Room for The Content Update, although he forgot to add it.
