- Lost In Translation Achievement description
The Moonlight Float is an item added in The Content Update.
Usage[edit | edit source]
The Moonlight Float heals the player by 100 HP and lights up/highlights important things up through walls for 5 minutes, such as Anchors and Library Books, as well as certain entities through the wall like Grumbles and Figure.
In order to get a Moonlight Float, players must place a Smoothie into a Rift. Creating the item will award the player with the achievement Lost In Translation if they didn't have it yet.
When used in a normal room, the Moonlight Float will highlight the exit, along with essential items such as Room Keys and Library Books.
Pros and Cons Pros and Cons
Pros[edit | edit source]
- Always regenerates the player to full health.[1]
- Can be stored multiple times in a player's inventory.
- Allows the player to see certain entities (Figure and Grumbles) through walls, along with essential items (Room Keys, Anchors, etc.) like it was an 'ESP'.
- Makes the consumer glow for the first minute.
- Highlights last up to 4:50 seconds.
Cons[edit | edit source]
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- All the things the highlight through walls effects are applied to are the following: Room Keys, Library Books, Circuit Breaker Switches, Fuses, Generators, Gate Buttons, Anchors, Figure and nest Grumbles.
- The highlight through walls effects will start fading away after 4 minutes and 50 seconds, disappearing completely 5 minutes after consuming the Moonlight Float.
- The function of this item is nearly identical to that of the Guidance Candy, added before the Moonlight Float as part of The Haunt event.
- It is very likely the Moonlight Float was already designed before Candy, and its effect was released early because of the event.
- Moonlight Float could be a reference to Guiding Light because of its appearance and the way it guides the player.
- The Moonlight Float is similar to Moonlight Candle in that the player must place both items in the Rift to create the two aforementioned items.
- Exactly like the Candle, if the Smoothie is put in Starlight rift, it won't turn the Smoothie into a Moonlight Float.
- When a Player consumes a Moonlight Float in The Rooms, the Guidance Candy Effect won't be granted but they still can be healed for 100 HP.
- According to LSPLASH, the Moonlight Float tastes like “Blue”.
