It's largely speculated to also be found inside of other subfloors as well.

Overview

Stardust is dust that which is heavily implied to have a connection to Curious Light. It is currently not in-game yet, however it has been confirmed that it can be found in The Backdoor, and completing certain achievements that award Stardust. It would be needed to create custom elevators to The Rooms and The Outdoors.

Trivia

• Stardust will be connected to the Curious Light, much like how Starlight is.
  • This is evidenced by its name, symbol, and the fact that it emits the same particles and yellow light as other Starlight items.
• According to the first Stardust teaser, its purpose(s) will "solve two issues at once".
  • From daily teaser 8, it was confirmed that Stardust will be able to create elevators to The Rooms.
  • From daily teaser 32, it was confirmed that Stardust will also be able to create elevators to The Outdoors.
    • Players will also be able to use the Admin Panel in sub-floors now, and it would make the elevator free because there is no progress.
  • The teaser included a pixelated button for a new menu in the Lobby. It's now confirmed to be a backpack icon but it's still unknown of what it will do.
  • It's speculated that it will serve as an Item Skin Shop. Stardust may or may not have any connections to the Item Skin Shop.
• The first Stardust teaser announced a challenge to guess its name, saying that the first person to guess correctly will be awarded with 1000 of the currency when the update releases.
  • The name of the new currency was guessed by @Nova3Dusk on X.
• The first use revealed for Stardust was creating an elevator to The Rooms and The Outdoors, costing 10 Stardust per elevator.
  • The price is subject to change.
• The placeholder developer products for Stardust are named Kroner.
  • The placeholder's name is a joke referencing a currency used in the Roblox game Pressure, a game inspired by DOORS.
