</choose>Jefftholomew Von Tentickle, or simply known as Jeff, is a friendly entity that resides in the Hotel at Door 52.

Obscured in darkness, Jeff can only be seen as a pair of big, glowing, white eyes and two tentacles which bear a dark royal blue tint. Its eyes glow from white to blue if the player buys something from it, causing it to make a cheerful expression as appreciation.
Behavior[edit | edit source]
Jeff is a friendly entity and will not harm the player. Jeff stays still in its shop and looks at the player(s) eagerly, waiting for them to buy one of its four randomized items, which usually vary in price between 
50-250 gold. If someone does buy an item, its eyes will look a bit more gleeful before it blinks and returns to a normal state.

Both El Goblino and Bob can be encountered here at a separate table, directly in front of the Jeff Shop.
Items[edit | edit source]
Items can be purchased at the Jeff Shop for gold that was collected during a run. The Skeleton Key is guaranteed to spawn, while Lighter, Lockpicks, Vitamins, Crucifixes, and Flashlights are chosen at random.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Tipping Jeff will make Jeff look at the Tip Jar with its 'Happy Eyes'.
- If the player has 650 or more, they will be able to purchase all items available in the shop.
- Buying an Item will also lead Jeff staying on its spot but with its Happy Eyes.
- Gold was previously only used to get a few Knobs at the end of a run until Jeff's introduction to the game. Other than that, Gold was almost pointless at the time.
- Unlocking the skull door in The Infirmary will reward the player with more gold than it costs to buy the Skeleton Key.
- The amount of Gold to fill up Jeff's tip jar (and to get the Pls Donate badge) is 100 total.
- The name of the badge is a reference to the game Pls Donate.
- The description of the badge is also a reference to Temmie from UNDERTALE, where the protagonist has the option to pay for her college in her shop.
