The Outdoors is an upcoming subfloor in DOORS that will release in the summer of 2025. |
== Overview Overview == |

== Description == |
Since this subfloor has not been released yet, not much information is known about it, but The Outdoors is nature themed, just like The Courtyard and The Greenhouse. The entrance to the subfloor will be located at Greenhouse Entrance (Door 90) that requires Shears and a Skeleton Key. It will add new entities, new hazards and new items. |
The Garden is an Upcoming Floor in DOORS. |

Entities are unnatural beings that inhabit The Outdoors. Most of them pose as roadblocks and threats to hinder players’ progress and usually attempt to kill or damage them in whatever ways they can. |
== Overview Overview == |
Since this Sub-Floor has not been released yet, not much is known about it, But the Unnamed Sub-Floor has been implied to be nature themed, judging by some of Lightning Splash's tweets. To access it, the player likely has to find a skeleton key, similar to the Rooms. Judging by what is seen in the teaser, the Floor likely doesn't contain a roof. It is likely that a crucifix won't work in this floor. |

The Groundskeeper is a new entity which will be found in The Outdoors. It was first teased during The Outdoors reveal teaser video and in the Daily Teaser from June 6th. |

Snare is a Entity that will most likely appear in the Garden It serves as an obstacle during these doors and a trap that will stop players from hiding from hostile entities. |
==Overview Appearance== |
Snare is a greenish-brown grassy entity with holes hiding retractable spike-like growths. While dormant, it looks akin to a circular dirt patch on the ground. When stepped on by a player, it releases its large white spikes to impale them. |
=={{Icons| |
== Overview Appearance == |
The Groundskeeper has at least two arms, a hat, and at least two gardening gloves. |
Inside each room in The Greenhouse, 1-3 Snares will spawn. If a player steps on it, Snare will release its spikes into their foot, immobilizing them for a few seconds, dealing 20 damage to them. This prevents players from moving or using items. However, there is a chance for a Snare to be a fake, letting players walk over it without any consequence. Snare can also spawn in The Courtyard, as of The Mines update, at the entrance or inside of the basement, which can catch the players off guard. |
However, its full appearance has not yet been revealed. |

=== Notes === |
* The Groundskeeper was originally teased in the June 6th trailer, where its hat can be seen. |
*It is strongly recommended to have a light source during The Greenhouse section, as there will be no reliable light sources, making it somewhat difficult to detect Snare. |
**In The Mines Update, it is now easier to avoid the entity, as the Greenhouse is now slightly brighter. |
*It is recommended that players check the ground ahead of them as they traverse The Greenhouse. |
*Lightning can strike, illuminating the room slightly for a few moments, which can be useful for locating Snare, as well as for finding closets. |
*Eyes may also act as a light source to locate Snares. It can be useful if a player doesn't have any light sources or is preserving fuel for the next room. |
*Since Guiding Light appears in dark rooms after a few minutes, it can also be used to locate Snare. |
*It is common for multiple Snares to appear in a room. |
*If one is unable to get to a hiding spot due to Snare<nowiki/>'s trap, they can use the crucifix as a last option against Rush. |
*Items can not be equipped while being trapped by Snare. |
** If a player has an item equipped, it's automatically unequipped. This could be lethal if Rush comes near a player or if Screech spawns when they are trapped. |
**Items are not automatically equipped after being released by Snare. |
**Snare was removed in The Mines because they can spawn in crawlspaces, up to 3 on top of one another, causing the player to be soft-locked. But it is going back in a future update (Most likely using modifiers, though it currently does not work). |
===Modifiers=== |
*If any of Snares modifiers are enabled, such as 'Watch Your Step', Snare can freely spawn in the Hotel, and is no longer exclusive to the Greenhouse. |
** Its modifier extension "Are Those Pancakes?!" can have up to 3-4 Snares to spawn in rooms. |
***Its other modifier extension, "I Love Pancakes!!!" can cause up to 6-8 Snares to spawn in a room. Also, Snare<nowiki/>'s damage can now be fatal. |
**Post-The Hunt update, there can be two Snares with "Watch Your Step" modifier. It can also spawn in The Library. |
**The only exceptions are that Snare cannot spawn at all in The Reception and during Seek's chase sequences. |

**Snare<nowiki/> and Timothy can become fatal with modifiers. |
*According to Redibles, Snare actually spreads farther underground, with a large series of vines, with its traps poking up like weeds. |
*As of the Floor 2 update , Snare is currently the only entity that does damage within The Hotel without an achievement. |
*When a player dies to Rush while being trapped by Snare, Guiding Light will have unique dialogue. |
*In the Tower Heroes Event, Snare appears as one of El Goblino's traps, specifically, when El Goblino is upgraded to Level 4. |
*Snare<nowiki/>'s name comes from Snare Trap. |
*Snare was based on Spikeweed from the Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare series, because both trap the player and cause damage to them. |
*Snares texture is "grass," and its teeth texture is "glacier.". |
*According to Guiding Light, Snare is sentient, and it really is named Snare. |
*Snare had a rare chance of appearing in The Mines before they were removed from said place. |

== Trivia == |
Glitch is an obscure and mysterious entity in DOORS found on every floor and subfloor. Glitch primarily acts as a failsafe when certain in-game bugs/glitches occur. In multiplayer runs that take place inside The Rooms, The Backdoor or The Garden, Glitch has a second purpose, which is to teleport players to the most recently opened door when the room they are in unloads. |
* They are named after the word "caw", the loud, rough cry of a bird such as a crow. |
* The 'Caws' are based on the hooded crows. |

Glitch is a distinct black-colored humanoid similar to Seek, with multiple purple cubes and protrusions sticking out of its body, with black scan-lines textures. It passively emits an aura of pixelated and colored squares around its body and they emit a bright pink-purple light around them. |

* The subfloor's first noticeable teaser was in the 6 Billion visits code announcement. |
** The Mines was initially also teased in a similar way. |
** When the The Hotel+ Update released, there was a door that was covered in vines, but was smaller than the current door with vines covering it, this door could have possibly been teasing the subfloor. |
* The location of the subfloor's entrance seems to have been changed from Room 99 to Room 90, as shown in the teaser. |
** It's likely this change was made so that players wouldn't need to always get through the hardest section of The Hotel in order to get into the subfloor. |
* The subfloor is likely to be opened with Shears, judging by what's shown in the teaser. |
* Though it was believed that this subfloor would release as part of Roblox's The Hunt: Mega Edition event, this was not the case. Redibles also confirmed that they were never contacted by Roblox. |
** DOORS eventually ended up being a part of the event, however the event did not correlate with a game update; the contestants in the event played RANKED Mode. |
* Prior to the reveal of The Outdoors<nowiki/>' name, it was widely believed to be named The Garden. This was due to a leaked script seemingly referring to the floor as such, as well as other seemingly relevant leaks and filenames including the word "garden". |
** For example, the lanterns in The Courtyard, Jeff Shop and The Mines are named "Garden_TallLantern" and "Garden_Lantern", and the large doors in The Greenhouse, which have been confirmed to be the entrance to The Outdoors, are named "Garden_Door". |
** It seems likely that The Garden was an old name for The Outdoors. |
** Due to the age of the "garden" leaks, it seems like The Outdoors has been being concepted and developed even prior to DOORS' release. |
* A popular YouTuber in the Doors community (Cheddar Balls) pointed out the possibility that one of the emoji hints could mean that we could have an entity that could pretend to be a rock. Nothing has actually been confirmed. |
* As a joke, Lightning_Splash posted a teaser featuring a model of Gubby (a Roblox OC). |

Overview[edit | edit source]
Since this subfloor has not been released yet, not much information is known about it, but The Outdoors is nature themed, just like The Courtyard and The Greenhouse. The entrance to the subfloor will be located at Greenhouse Entrance (Door 90) that requires Shears and a Skeleton Key. It will add new entities, new hazards and new items.
Entities
Entities are unnatural beings that inhabit The Outdoors. Most of them pose as roadblocks and threats to hinder players’ progress and usually attempt to kill or damage them in whatever ways they can.

It was first teased during The Outdoors reveal teaser video and in the Daily Teaser from June 6th.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
The Groundskeeper has at least two arms, a hat, and at least two gardening gloves. However, its full appearance has not yet been revealed.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The Groundskeeper was originally teased in the June 6th trailer, where its hat can be seen.

They were revealed in The Outdoors reveal teaser video.
Appearance[edit | edit source]
They appear like normal crows/ravens and have eyes similar to Louie's.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- They are named after the word "caw", the loud, rough cry of a bird such as a crow.
- The 'Caws' are based on the hooded crows.

It was first revealed inside the LSPLASH profile picture then inside the Outdoors Teaser Trailer. It is also highly likely that this is just a decoration.

Non-Exclusive Entities[edit | edit source]
- Curious Light - A death messenger to the player after dying in sub-floors.
- Glitch - Acts as a failsafe and attacks players that are lagging too far back from the rest of the team when in a multiplayer subfloor elevator.
- Glitch Fragment Entities - Glitched variations of Screech, Rush and Ambush that appear when interacting with a Glitch Fragment.
- Snare - Briefly stops any player in their tracks if they step on it.
Items[edit | edit source]
Special Locations[edit | edit source]
Guaranteed Rooms[edit | edit source]
- Door ?, The Mill[1]
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The subfloor's first noticeable teaser was in the 6 Billion visits code announcement.[2]
- The Mines was initially also teased in a similar way.[3]
- When the The Hotel+ Update released, there was a door that was covered in vines, but was smaller than the current door with vines covering it, this door could have possibly been teasing the subfloor.
- The location of the subfloor's entrance seems to have been changed from Room 99 to Room 90, as shown in the teaser.[4]
- It's likely this change was made so that players wouldn't need to always get through the hardest section of The Hotel in order to get into the subfloor.
- The subfloor is likely to be opened with Shears, judging by what's shown in the teaser.[4]
- Though it was believed that this subfloor would release as part of Roblox's The Hunt: Mega Edition event, this was not the case. Redibles also confirmed that they were never contacted by Roblox.[5]
- DOORS eventually ended up being a part of the event, however the event did not correlate with a game update; the contestants in the event played RANKED Mode.[6]
- Prior to the reveal of The Outdoors' name, it was widely believed to be named The Garden. This was due to a leaked script seemingly referring to the floor as such, as well as other seemingly relevant leaks and filenames including the word "garden".
- For example, the lanterns in The Courtyard, Jeff Shop and The Mines are named "Garden_TallLantern" and "Garden_Lantern", and the large doors in The Greenhouse, which have been confirmed to be the entrance to The Outdoors, are named "Garden_Door".
- It seems likely that The Garden was an old name for The Outdoors.
- Due to the age of the "garden" leaks, it seems like The Outdoors has been being concepted and developed even prior to DOORS' release.
- A popular YouTuber in the Doors community (Cheddar Balls) pointed out the possibility that one of the emoji hints could mean that we could have an entity that could pretend to be a rock. Nothing has actually been confirmed.
- As a joke, Lightning_Splash posted a teaser featuring a model of Gubby (a Roblox OC).
