It was added in The Content Update as its encounter room.
Overview[edit | edit source]
The Bridges consists of 3 sections, each one with 3 bridges, 2 of which are broken and cannot be crossed. The broken bridges often have containers in front of the broken bit. At the end of the room there is a small staircase with the door to the next room.
Strategy and Tips[edit | edit source]
- The difficulty of the encounter comes from the darkness obscuring the bridges, as which bridges are broken changes each time.
- To make this encounter way easier, it's recommended to bring light sources, like a Flashlight or a Spotlight.
- Some of the broken bridges will have signs saying that they are broken; some of them won't. To easily determine which bridge is the correct one, remember that the correct bridge will always have a set of drawers on the right side of the walkway.
- If the player does not have a light source, they can attempt to use the siren like light Halt lets off to help find the correct path.
- This can be difficult as the light is rotating, as such it is recommended that the player only does this if they are without a light source.
Gameplay[edit | edit source]
To proceed to the next room, the player has to pass 3 sections, each one consisting in 3 bridges. Only one of the bridges bring to the next section, while the other 2 leave to a dead-end (in fact, they could be collapsed or blocked by drawers and lockers). Once the player has passed the 3 sections, they can open the next door and Halt, along with its room, will despawn.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- The Bridges replaced The Grotto as the room that Players encounter Halt in The Mines after The Content Update.
- This is the fourth place Halt appears in, the others being Halt's old hallway (Before The Mines Update), The Dining Hall, and The Grotto (before The Content Update).
- The Grotto, the room where Halt resided before The Content Update, can still be found as a normal room in The Mines and it will still have the loot bonus.
- The name of The Bridges in the game files (and as shown in the Admin Panel) is "HaltHallway".
- It is curiously the only room in the whole game without its theme at the start of its name (Hotel, Greenhouse, Mines, Sewer...).
