The '''Shakelight''' is a variation of the [[Flashlight]] that can be obtained in [[The Rooms]].

The ''Shakelight'' functions similar to the [[Flashlight]], but has a significantly smaller fuel capacity, only lasting 10.5 seconds; it also emits a green light that is slightly darker. However, instead of using [[batteries]], it can be recharged infinitely by shaking it. Each shake only restores 1.5 seconds of fuel time, so it must be shaken multiple times to fully charge.

* The ''Shakelight'' can be purchased in the first room of [[The Rooms]].
*The ''Shakelight'' does not reduce the chance of [[Screech]] from spawning, despite it being a light source.{{Citation needed}}
* The ''Shakelight''<nowiki/>'s ability to be recharged at any time allows for it to be used more freely than the flashlight.
*Levels in The Rooms will get progressively darker as the player continues. Thus, it is highly advised that the player purchases the ''Shakelight'' if they have no other rechargeable light source.

*It's advised to only use the ''Shakelight'' as a secondary light source, as it's very noisy and since it relies on spam clicks, it can be fatal against [[A-90]] and mask the sounds of [[A-60]] and [[A-120]].

** Both this item and the gamepass have the same price, but in different currencies. The original gamepass costs Robux, and the ''[[DOORS]]'' item costs [[Gold]].
*The item's appearance closely resembles that of the real life "NightStar II CS2" Shake Flashlight.
*The ''Shakelight's'' [https://www.roblox.com/library/11373085609 icon filename] is "my name is jeff".
**Originally, its name referred to a Halt Flashlight Skin, meant to be a red herring.
*This item functions similarly and is inspired by the flashlight in Tattletail, another popular horror indie game.
