IMAGE POLICY

The Image policy is a guideline for files uploaded to the DOORS Wiki that will be used within articles, templates, categories, and user pages. This page describes the guidelines that should be followed at all times, especially when there is confusion or doubt on what should be done relating to specific licenses and use cases.

The Image policy was last revised on 10 March 2025. It is subject to change at anytime.

General guidelines

All users who upload images to the DOORS Wiki are subjugated to these guidelines per Fandom policy.

  • All images are subjugated to copyright laws. Images uploaded to Fandom are strongly encouraged to be Public Domain unless with permission from the copyright holder.
  • Images may only be uploaded to the wiki that relate to the DOORS Roblox horror game per our partnership with LSPLASH and under Fair Use. These include, but not limited to, images for articles, for templates, and promotional material about the game.
  • Users may upload DOORS fanart that they have created or were given explicit permission to upload, and post them on their userpage.

Removing images

Users who upload off-topic images to the DOORS Wiki will have their images deleted by staff without prior notice. These images include, but not limited to, characters from SpongeBob SquarePants, Dragon Ball Z, Sonic, Nintendo, SEGA, The Walt Disney Company/Corporation (Disney), Paramount, and Valve Corporation. If you believe your image was wrongfully deleted, please consult a member of staff and they will review the deletion.

Contacting Fandom staff

At any point, copyright owners may request their art to be taken down by contacting Fandom staff via Zendesk and filing a DMCA per the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.

  1. Copyright owners can go to Zendesk and fill out a new form.
  2. In the "Please choose the category that best fits your issue (optional)" dropdown menu, select "I have a copyright or trademark issue (DMCA)".
  3. Fill out the form, which will create a DMCA takedown notice for the Customer Support team to act upon.
