Overview[edit | edit source]
Ladders are a common feature inside The Mines. Many rooms in The Mines have multiple floors, and ladders are used to go between these floors. The player can start climbing a Ladder by pressing E on keyboard, and ascend or descend by holding their forwards and backwards movement keys.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- If on the player, Screech will despawn with a fading-out animation when the player attempts to climb a ladder.
- Although wooden ladders exist in the Hotel (such as in The Library) they cannot be interacted with and only serve as decoration.
- Dread can spawn while you are on a ladder as a substitute of Screech to discourage players from being AFK.
- Eyes cannot attack a player while using a ladder.
- There is a room in The Mines which only contains a single ladder to a higher door.
- Ladders can spawn in sub-rooms, which usually lead to a container or a hiding spot
- Ladders also are in The Nest which has a ladder in the lush room that can spawn Anchor D/E/F.
- Ladders can also be a way of climbing down or/and up to generators or to the second floor of a room.
