From Discord or Roblox, you may know me as Braindead. On Fandom Wikis, I like to contribute as much as I can.

So, what have I contributed?[edit | edit source]

  • I've been fixing grammar across all the pages.
  • Inserted temporary files for new items.
  • Double-checking information.
  • Removing typos & other mistakes.
  • Communicating with other members, helping set guidelines.

  • I won 50 times in a row without dying once before the Hotel+ update.
  • I like helping new players learn how to play the game.
  • I know way too much about doors lore.
  • I used to have the old rooms all memorized.
  • I was one of the first 20 people to find The Rooms.

  • My favorite colors are sunset-based.
  • I live in the U.S.
  • I have so much hair it looks like a squirrel died on my forehead.
  • I joined Roblox originally in 2013.
  • My first death in DOORS was from Rush (not a surprise lol).

Gameplay tips:[edit | edit source]

  • Whenever Rush is just about to come, hop in the wardrobe.
  • Late-game, if the lights flicker, keep your crucifix out. If you can't get into a wardrobe quick enough, you will be rescued.
  • In The Greenhouse, entities like Rush and Ambush are so likely to spawn that Rush can trigger a second Rush. Be careful and listen. You don't know you're safe.
  • Without a light source in The Greenhouse, stay to the sides to semi-effectively avoid snares.
  • The skeleton key can, in fact, replace the Electrical Room key.
  • Herb Of Viridis can come in handy, especially when you are caught by Snare, Screech, Void, Hide, Dupe, or even Timothy.
  • A Crucifix is like the DOORS equivalent to a totem of undying. Use it wisely, because Screech and Eyes are a bad use of it.
  • A good use for a crucifix is on an instant-death entity.
  • Remember that Seek and Figure break out of the crucifix shortly. You're not in the clear yet.
  • Some chests require lockpicks/skeleton keys.

Guides:[edit | edit source]

Rush:[edit | edit source]

Watch out for the lights flickering, and listen for his scream. Additionally, the lights will slightly dim when he's coming. Watch out for fake flickers late-game. The lights may occasionally flicker prematurely, he won't come, then you let your guard down, and it flickers, and he comes again. As with Rush and Ambush, they will come slower depending on how many players are in the lobby, giving them time to hide. Hide, the entity, will kick you out of hiding spots increasingly fast throughout the game. You'll need to make some close calls. Additionally, when Rush speeds past, he will turn the lights off as he goes. In The Greenhouse, (Doors 90-99) Rush will not flicker the lights, as those rooms have none to flicker. Stay tuned and listen for his or Ambush's scream.

Ambush:[edit | edit source]

Telltale signs are the same as Rush's, yet Ambush makes a different sound cue, like a constant scream. More uniform. It will come back and forth 1-6 times, and to avoid Hide, you'll have to get in & out of hiding spots quickly but strategically. Ambush will not turn the lights off, and emits a green light. Ambush is much rarer than Rush, who is the default, as well.

Dupe:[edit | edit source]

Pay attention to door numbers. If you haven't been, you can hear its breathing from behind the door. His door number(s) will always be different from the one that should be next.

Eyes:[edit | edit source]

Just look away.

Seek:[edit | edit source]

Run. Dodge. Crouch. Hide.

Hide:[edit | edit source]

Don't stay in wardrobes for too long.

What do I do?[edit | edit source]

I am a graphic designer, concept artist, animator, 3D modeler, pianist, and an absolute STICKLER for doors lore. I knew most of this stuff before the wiki put it on here! I've been playing pretty much since DOORS' alpha. (BTW, I'm mainly a 3D modeler, all the rest are hobbies)
