Only little is known about it.

Overview Appearance

Death takes on the appearance of a purple human skull with black, hollow eyes and a grainy 'skin' texture. When crucified, Death's mouth opens wider. Its 'body' stretches and distorts during the process. Death looks same as the Haste.

Behavior Behavior

Death can spawn with extremely rare chance. It will highlight a player's screen with a purple haze and begin to approach from behind, killing a player instantly if caught. It can be defeated by a randomly selected mechanic:
A lever will spawn in random place that can be activated to immediately despawn it. Next rooms may also contain a lever.
If a player will open the door to the next room before Death kills them, it will immediately despawn.

In the Rooms Death can spawn only past Door 270.

Trivia Strategy

You can know how close Death is to players by looking backwards, as you can see it through walls.

Trivia Trivia

  • Death looks same as the Haste
  • Similar to Haste, Death is a client-sided entity, meaning there will be a unique instance of Haste for every player.
    • As a result, players who are dead and spectating the game will not see Death and any of its effects.
  • Death's jumpscare sound consists of the default player death sound being played repeatedly.
  • Curiously, players can still interact with levers during Death's jumpscare. This will despawn it and players won't die.
  • Players can outrun Death with some of the speed modifiers.
    • Although, if it stays for too long, all players are automatically killed.
