Hide is an entity whose only purpose is to punish players who are hiding for too long.
Template:BEHAVIOR
When a player remains in a hiding spot for too long, their screen will slowly start to show many visual effects with the words "Get Out" flashing on the screen. If the player remains in their hiding spot, Hide will push the player out dealing 60 damage.
Notes:
- The deeper into the game the player is, the quicker Hide will attack them. This means sometimes players may have to enter and exit the same hiding spot multiple times in order to survive entities such as Ambush.
Template:TRIVIA
- Hide's name is a reference to the fact that it is the counterpart of Seek.
- Hide has a physical form (as show in the "Eviction Notice" achievement icon), but cannot be seen in-game.
- Originally the player's character was meant to have claustrophobia, but this was changed in favor of Hide being an entity.
