The Rift is a portal that can transfer one item into another playthrough.
Overview
The Rift can be found downstairs from Door 100. You're able to put an item in it by interacting with it. The item will appear in the next playthrough on Door 0 or back at Door 100 where you first put it at, the item will be in all playthroughs until taken out, upon being taken out of the rift, the item will no longer be in the rift until it is put back in it.
Notes
- There are certain items you cannot put in the Rift, such as the key to the circuit breaker room.
Trivia
- Rift and Guiding Light are the only mechanics that can transfer through playthroughs
