The Room Keys in The Backdoor are used to unlock specific doors throughout the 50 rooms. They act exactly like their Hotel counterparts.

Throughout The Backdoor, players will find doors with a lock attached to them. To unlock these doors, players must hunt for the Room Key, find it, and use it on the door. As of right now, it's unclear where the Room Key can spawn, but it's expected to spawn in similar areas to the Hotel version of the Room Key.

Once the door is unlocked, the room key will disappear from the room and the inventories of any players in possession of it.

Notes
* There will always be a room key in Room -51 (the room the players start in) and it will always spawn on the exact same table.
* Interestingly, like the Hotel Room Keys, the Backdoor Room Keys will emit a shining sound when the player is near.
* In rooms with unnumbered doors, Backdoor Room Keys may spawn inside the small rooms found behind them. It's important to be cautious of the vacuum when searching for keys.

UsageUsage
To use a room key, the player must equip the key and hold E ( on Xbox) when near the locked door. After a few seconds, the lock will fall off, and the door will open.

* The icon for this item was leaked.
