It appears when hiding in a closet from Figure. In the mini-game, you need to control your breathing.
Walkthrough
Players need to input Controls depending on their device. As soon as a half of the heart flies into the heart, players need to input the correct control depending on the side of the half.
If a player makes a mistake, or miss a beat, Hide will kick the player out of the closet.
Trivia
- After The Mines update, the Heartbeat Control Minigame was added to Hide as an entity mechanic rather than a Figure-only mechanic, but was removed shortly after The Mines update because it was unintuitive, and it didn't make sense because Figure was related to hearing, whilst the Heartbeat Minigame outside of the Figure rooms provoked confusion.
- In the period from September 1, 2024 to December 20, 2024, Figure did not have a Heartbeat Control Minigame at all, but still checked the closet, and there was a bug where the player can exit the closet while Figure checks it and not die.
- After The Mines update, the Heartbeat Control Minigame became multicolored, apparently for those who couldn’t understand well.
- After The Content update, Heartbeat Control Minigame is present in the following places:
- Door 50, The Library (The Hotel)
- The Shafts (The Mines)
- For unknown reasons, the Heartbeat Control Minigame is missing in The Electrical Room, likely due to Hide being absent in the room and it cannot be played.
