The Three Architects

From DOORS Wiki
The subject and name of this article has no proper denomination, and is unofficially titled based on conjecture or references found in-game.

The 3 Architects are the lights you see in The Backdoor, The Hotel and The Rooms being Curious Light and Guiding Light, the Third Light has no confirmed/known name.

Guiding Light

Guiding Light helps players to beat the game and highlights progressive stuff such as Keys, Levers, Books and Circuit Breakers and it/she also highlights doors in dark rooms if the player doesn't have any light source. Guiding Light will also highlight the doors during Seek Chase.

Guiding Light emit sound while Third Light doesn't.

Guiding Light's symbol could be Moonlight.

  1. The Hotel
  2. The Mines

Curious Light

Curious Light also helps players but with less helpful information about entities and doesn't highlight anything except the A-000 Door and EXIT Door from The Rooms sub-floor.

Curious Light emit sound while Third Light doesn't.

Curious Light's symbol could be Starlight.

  2. The Rooms

Third/Mischievous Light

Third Light is a unknown light with no known name that was mostly not shown in the game but it is theorized that it is going against players and it is shown when the Crucifix fails on banishing Seek and Figure. It could possibly be Mischeivous Light from the Tower Heroes Event.

Third Light doesn't emit sound while Curious Light and Guiding Light does.

Third Light's symbol could be Redlight.

Floors found in:

  1. The Hotel
  2. Possibly The Mines

Theory

  • Curious Light was supposed to be the Guiding Light but it/he was more curious about other things than guiding players and Guiding Light came and has been chosen to assist players/humans since it/she is more helpful than Curious Light.
  • During The Library cutscene, Guiding Light probably broke the lamp to distract Figure.
