WIKI RULES
These are the general rules for the DOORS Wiki. These will help users better understand what is and isn't allowed on the Wiki. Following these will help keep the wiki more organized and helpful for new members. If you have any issues or questions, contact an Administrator or Bureaucrat.
Main Rules
- Follow the FANDOM Community Guidelines.
- Don't edit other users' about pages.
- You're allowed to swear, just don't be annoying.
- Try not to spam/flood pages with text or images.
Editing Rules
- When you are creating an entity, item, or floor page, use their respective templates and article formula.
- Use this placeholder image if there is no image for an entity available.
- Only add existing categories to pages. Don't add too many immaterial categories or incorrect main categories.
- Do not spread misinformation on pages. Ask peers if the info you're putting in is correct and verified.
- You should only create new pages if there are missing pages for new items, entities, etc.
- Fan-made content is not allowed.
- Do not get off-topic! Don't create any images or pages that have nothing to do with DOORS.
- Don't vandalize pages. In most cases, it'll resort to an instant block.
- Only write in the American English language.
- Use a third-person perspective. Try not to address players in the first or second person.
- When referring to entities, always use the pronouns it/its (unless specified otherwise, such as Eyes being referred to by they/them pronouns).
- Follow the Icons Template.
- In cases of disagreement with other editors over an article's information (a.k.a. edit warring), please resolve it by contacting each other instead of undoing edits.
Discussion Rules
- Be nice and treat people with respect. Keep discussions civil and be open-minded about differing opinions.
- Threads and posts that solicit upvotes will be deleted. Adult rated posts/comments, or posts/comments that mention adult rated material will also be deleted. Posts that even hint at such material will also be deleted.
- Off-topic content should at least relate to the studio's other projects (e.g. Ragdoll Universe), conversing with other wiki users or popular real-life occurrences. Any other content that does not fit the criteria will be deleted.
- Commenting on a discussion that is at least a month old will result in the post being locked. For posts that have been left unanswered, make a new post instead.
- Impersonation of other users or famous people will not be tolerated. If you have been banned and return on a new account, your posts will be deleted and your new account(s) will be banned.
- Spamming, trolling, or vandalizing of any kind will be deleted and will lead to your account being banned.
