- Flashlight Battler

Slapplep is a Rare battler unlocked by opening Cards. He is a Battler temporarily decreases the accuracy of enemies' attack while also reducing their range. If he debuffs a melee enemy, they will have a 60% chance to swing in the other direction and do no damage.

Usage

Flashlight Battler, alongside its alt form, is very niche; strictly being a support unit. Flashlight Battler has good usage on both melee enemies, which allow you to stall them for longer or draw them in so that you can have more time to attack; and ranged enemies, which forces them to get closer and increasing their chances of being caught in the crossfire while also making them have a chance to miss their attack. If you are going to use Flashlight Battler, either support it with battlers that can help keep a distance or use it as a kamikaze unit for blinding enemies with its cone of light.

Because Flashlight Battler has terrible range, he is very prone to accidentally die from AOE attacks such as a swing from Template:Unit and most of the time, the enemies either come closer because they are blinded by light or Flashlight Battler will inadvertently die from stray damage.

Another thing to note is if you use this unit, you have to pay attention to the enemy units in the battle. Reason being is Flashlight Battler can decrease range of certain AOE enemies (like Template:Unit), causing them to further steep into territory, potentially giving room for enemies to push, or it might kill your DPS units.

Weaknesses

• Cannot blind minibosses or giant enemy battlers in general such as Template:Unit and Template:Unit

Trivia

• His quote is a reference to a clip from a video by LankyBox which was popularized in the Tumore Discord Server.
  • It is also a reference to Doors, a popular Roblox game.
• His ability is the opposite of Template:Unit, a red enemy from Chapter 2, although to whom they're used on is also different (Cymbal Boy uses it on his allies, Flashlight Battler uses it on his enemies).
• When Flashlight Battler kills an enemy, a fish screaming from blindness by a bald head under the sea is played.
