</choose>Painful's an entity that was forced to kill the player and spawn in the Hotel.

Appearance

Painful is a similar to Ambush, they could be a relative but Ambush and Painful hate each other and also are enemies, which it's impossible for Ambush's sibling with Painful, Painful's appearance is Black-Olive, shocked face with a large, gaping mouth. And a set of large black eyes with bags under them. It emits an immense Rifle-Green fade to a Black-Coral aura

Behavior

Painful has a very small chance to replace Ambush and Rush when spawning in, If the light flickers the light, and almost turns green color, that means painful is coming, make sure to hide closet, however, don't hide in bed, because painful still can kill you when you hide in bed, this entity can rebound five times, the first one will be faster than Ambush, But after 1-4 time, Painful's speed will be the same as Rush's speed. If there are no objects between the player and Painful, then it will kill players if close enough (via its raycasting). Hiding in/behind closets while Painful is traveling through rooms will let the player survive. Unlike Rush, the next door will not be opened, likely due to balancing purposes, there's a 1,000/1 chance that it will backtrack through past rooms to catch any unsuspecting players who are not hiding.

• Painful will not attack in the following rooms:
  • Seek's crescendos
  • Seek's chases
  • The Library
  • The Courtyard
  • Dark Rooms (excluding The Greenhouse)
  • Halt's corridor
  • The Electrical Room
• Painful has a ${\frac {1}{600}}$ chance to replace Rush and Ambush
