Removed Content (a.k.a. scrapped content) contains features that were removed from the game. They may have been removed either because certain mechanics did not work well, items not being needed in the game or other reasons.

Door Removed Entities

  • In the wiki's deletion logs, a Mobble article is found to be deleted 5 days before the game's release in conjunction with the removed items. The reason for its deletion is unknown, though it could've been a decision in keeping the game design simple.
    • The developers have said that a 'mobble' was one of many entities, the first mobble being Jack (thus the article recovery namedropping it) with the next mobble planned to be Ambush. The mobbles concept was later scrapped and both Jack and Ambush were made as their own entity.

They can spawn on any floor.

Behavior Behavior

Jack can interfere with the player in various ways. Currently, there is a (1/2000) chance for Jack to appear on the other side of a recently opened door, along with a (1/20) chance Jack being inside of a closet. You can not go inside a closet when Jack is in as they push you away before abruptly closing it. Opening it once more will make it serve as an ordinary closet again.

Notes:

  • Jack can not spawn in a closet if Rush has spawned.

Trivia Behavior

  • ???? was originally going to be another Jack, but was changed to be a standalone entity instead.

  • In the wiki's deletion logs, a crucifix and a skeleton key article are found to be deleted 5 days before the game's release, having been first created in late July. The reason for their deletion is unknown, however they appear to be items that could've made the player's game experience a lot easier, thus making the experience less scary and challenging.
    • The crucifix was designed as one-time use entity prevention tool, temporarily trapping whatever entity it was supposed to be affecting in 'hell' before being discarded from the player's inventory. The way of obtaining it is unknown, presumably from finding it in a container.
    • The skeleton key acted as a universal key, being able to open all locked doors five times before being discarded from the player's inventory. This was obtainable via the pre-run shop for

Usage Usage

When equipped and facing specific entities, it will play an animation where it drags them to hell; giving its user a temporary escape. This is a one-use item and will be removed from your inventory once activated. The entity you used it on will still actively try to hunt you down.

Notes:

  • Since it's a powerful one time item, it should only be activated when you're completely in danger.

Usage Usage

When equipped, it can unlock any locked doors without the need of going through rooms. Using it will decrease durability before it eventually breaks on the fifth use.

Notes:

  • Recommended to use sparingly and to let those with lockpicks use theirs first.
  • Can be rarely found in drawers.

Door Removed Soundtracks

  • It was found by a YouTube user known as cyrin where there was a music known as The Figure Enraged. It is unknown where it was going to be used, probably at the Door 100.
    • cyrin also found an unused song known as Stress. It is unknown to this day where it was going to be used, although it could've been for the heartbeat minigame or the old and unused claustrophobia idea.
