[[Halt]]'s room of residence in [[The Mines]] is a lot trickier than the encounter in [[The Dining Hall]]. Unlike the Dining Hall, the path is curved, and it also has a section where the player is required to push a [[minecart]] into boards in order to break them.

''The Grotto'' starts with a tunnel that [[player|players]] have to crawl through. After this, the players move around a collapsed section of rock, with item lockers lining the left side. The player then travels through a small body of water, and comes across a section where they are required to push a minecart to break a wooden barrier. ''The Grotto'' then ends with a snaking path leading to the exit door.

* Instead of turning around, you can simply walk backwards and survive Halt, this can make it quicker as you do not move as far backwards when using this method

** It can be much riskier to use this method in The Grotto as it has many more twists and turns, so make sure you have a clear path to back up into.

* [[Halt]] can pass through walls, making the last section a bit more difficult.

** To counter this, try to stay near the inner bends of the snaking path when Halt approaches.
