As a punishment for his crimes, Hades made Sisyphus roll a huge boulder endlessly up a steep hill in Tartarus. Before Sisyphus reached the top, the boulder would roll back down to the foot of the mountain which ended up consigning Sisyphus to an eternity of useless efforts and unending frustration. I leave Sisyphus at the foot of the mountain! One always finds one’s burden again. But Sisyphus teaches the higher fidelity that negates the gods and raises rocks. He too concludes that all is well. This universe henceforth without a master seems to him neither sterile nor futile. Each atom of that stone, each mineral flake of that night filled mountain, in itself forms a world. The struggle itself toward the heights is enough to fill a man’s heart. One must imagine Sisyphus happy.

If you rearrange a deck of cards enough times, then statistically it will eventually be in its original formation. Due to the fact that time is infinite, the same goes for the particles in your brain. There is a higher chance of your brain briefly forming in a void complete with memories of living than there is of you actually existing on earth. The only thing you can be sure of is the existence of your own mind. If you are reading this, you are likely the only real consciousness to have ever existed in the entire universe. This theory is called the Boltzmann Brain. You are alone. Nothing is real.
