WIKI RULES

These are the general rules for the DOORS Wiki. These will help users better understand what is and isn't allowed on the Wiki. Following these will help keep the wiki more organized and helpful for new members. If you have any issues or questions, contact an Administrator or Bureaucrat through their FANDOM profiles or the Discord Invite Wiki Discord Server.

As this wiki is a part of the Roblox Interwiki Project, any offenses in other wikis of this project may be also issued on this wiki. This also works vice versa, where any offenses in this wiki may be issued on other wikis of the project.

In the case where you want to appeal your block sentence, but a message hasn't been provided to your message wall to respond to, please refer to the responsible staff member's Community Central message wall and make a message with your appeal.

Door Main Rules

Do note that these rules are handled on a case-by-case basis by moderators. The consequences will not be exact as each violation suggests, they're depending on the severity and/or frequency. We do not accept attempts of finding and using loopholes around our rules.

Light Offenses

Violation Description Consequence
Editing others' user pages without productive reasoning The only times editing user pages is allowed are taking care of maintenance work or marking pages of blocked users for deletion (this must be mentioned in the edit summary, as to prevent confusion). "Free edit zones" count as part of this violation. Warned, blocked appropriately if repeated
Creating fanon or off-topic content Our scope of the DOORS Wiki is to document all canon details about the videogame and its relations, fanon content excluded. To post fan content, go to the endorsed fanon wiki. Warned, blocked appropriately if repeated
Not abiding the Project:Manual of Style Intentionally going off your personal style that goes against the wiki's style isn't tolerated for the purpose of consistency between articles. Warned, blocked appropriately if repeated
Misusing or creating meaningless page categories Please see the categories we've set up and use them appropriately. They should only be used on articles and templates, not blog posts or other namespace pages. Warned, blocked appropriately if repeated
Making discussion posts that solicit upvotes or are considered non-sensical Low-effort posts may include but are not limited to: "your #th image in your gallery is #" posts, entity-chan posts and any other unrelated topic to DOORS. Warned, blocked appropriately if repeated
Replying to a discussion post that's older than a month, alias necroposting If your posts have been left unanswered after a month's period, make a new post instead. Warned, blocked appropriately if repeated

Moderate Offenses

Violation Description Consequence
Vandalism of any kind performed on articles Making edits that only aim to be harmful or unproductive will be rolled back, such edits commonly being complete content removals and/or writing gibberish spread across the article. Blocked with a minimal duration of 3 days
Edit warring Defined as editing over a person's change repeatedly with no hope of discussion between one another. Blocked with a minimal duration of 3 days. The other involved person will receive the same punishment.
Not providing credits to the artist and claiming your artwork as your own To post artwork that isn't yours to wiki discussions, you must have permission from the creator and appropriately credit them in the post. Please state whether or not you've made your artwork or not to prevent confusion. Blocked with a minimal duration of 3 days
Harassment/slandering of other users Be open-minded and respectful during discussions with other users. Blocked with a minimal duration of 7 days
Making discussion posts with suggestive content and/or undertone Adult rated content may include but is not limited to: NSFW/NSFL media, graphical violence, drugs, and gore. "Punishment wheel" posts are included due to their potential encouragement of inappropriate acts with users. At the discretion of the administrator

Severe Offenses

Violation Description Consequence
Breaking the FANDOM's Terms of Use and Community Guidelines This violation covers a lot of scenarios that involve sensitive information and/or behavior, such as: being underage, soliciting any personal information from underage/teenaged users and harassing users across wikis. Please have a read over both articles to ensure you're not accidentally breaking a rule. At the discretion of the administrator
Impersonating a FANDOM/local staff member or game developers Impersonation counts as posing and pretending to be a staff member. Parody accounts are exempted from this rule, as long as it's not done with malice. Indefinitely blocked from the wiki, appealable if you change your username
